Suede Mini Skirt & Floral

Coming at ya with another spring look!!

I just got this suede mini from W and its amazing. It's the perfect spring skirt with the light color and perfect length. I also like the A-line fit so that you can wear tight or flowy tops with it.

This top is pretty old, but from Anthro. My bag is also an old find from Anthropolgie and I just think it is so cute.
The booties you have seen before... they are Toms. And all my jewelry is Kendra Scott, needless to say I'm a little obsessed.

Striped Off the Shoulder & Vans

*when blog pics get to be too much

Spring has unofficially sprung here in the 3-0-3, but what else would you expect?
There has been random snows mixed in with the pleasant 60 degree weather and I am just ready for summer at this point.
Meanwhile though, I have been enjoying the warm overcast weather. I have even been able to pull out one of my fave off the shoulder tops... pictured in this post :)

It was a find from TJMaxx a couple months back. I paired it with my black jeans, from W Boutique... the workplace of yours truly on weekends.
And I also wore my go-to sneakers at the moment, my platform vans. These go with everything and I of course love the extra two inches they give me lol.

It's a pretty simple outfit but I like the cool, neutral tones, especially for the gloomier spring days.

Now, I had the idea to start including a little life lesson at the end of all my posts starting now. I want to make this blog something more than just me telling people what I wear. It's a small first step, but I believe it is a step in the right direction.

What I mean by life lesson is just sharing something I have learned the day I write the post. Majorly or minorly, if it impacts just one person then I have accomplished my goal.
The origin of this idea actually came from a 13 year old Sophia when snapchat was just starting to get popular. I would take a snapchat video everyday of me saying some sort of life lesson. They were mostly pretty silly but I liked it.

So yeah the lessons will probably be pretty random, but I like the idea so I'm gonna roll with it.

Life lesson 3/26/2018

Life is difficult. It's not supposed to be easy. If we wake up everyday expecting the day to go smoothly, then we are bound to be disappointed. Every day has some unexpected obstacle. Whether it be the barista gets your coffee order wrong, or you get in a fender bender, they are things you don't plan to happen. So when these things do occur, we can either let it ruin our day because they are inconveniences we did not schedule into our planners, or we can react in a flexible way and grow as a person by not letting it affect our days poorly.
I'll give you a hint and say the correct answer is the latter one.
I assume we are all striving to be the best version of ourselves, and here is a simple way to start implementing that goal into daily life. Face the difficulties with the intention to grow in virtue and character and I think that will go a long way.
This is definitely something I need to learn and wanted to share the wisdom.
